Is my data uploaded to any server?
No. All of your focus sessions, tasks, goals, statistics, and reminders are stored 100% on your device. Kuma does not require an internet connection to track your focus, manage tasks and goals, or view your stats.
What's included in the free version?
The free version includes the Pomodoro-style focus timer (any duration), unlimited task management, weekly statistics, a daily goal, a reminder, a selection of basic white-noise sounds, and the core achievement badges.
What does Kuma Pro include?
Pro unlocks the full white-noise library, advanced statistics (30-day trends and time-of-day distribution), monthly and quarterly goals, multiple reminder schedules, and premium achievement badges — with more on the way (such as iCloud sync, themes, and additional companion characters).
How do focus reminders work?
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. You can set them up in Kuma under Profile → Focus Reminder, choosing the time and which days of the week you'd like a nudge to focus.
Why didn't my reminder show up?
Local notification delivery is controlled by iOS and can occasionally be delayed or grouped. Please make sure notifications are allowed for Kuma in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Kuma, and that the reminder is enabled in the app.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the Kuma Pro screen and tap "Restore Purchases." If your subscription is active, Pro features will be restored automatically. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kuma → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Will I lose my data if my subscription expires?
No. All of your focus records, tasks, goals, and badges stay on your device. If your subscription expires, only the Pro features are locked again — none of your data is deleted.
Which iOS versions are supported?
Kuma requires iOS 17 or later and is designed for iPhone.
