Privacy First: Healio is built to protect your most sensitive recovery journey. Your health logs, medication schedules, notes, and photos are stored entirely on your device. We do not operate remote servers for your personal data, and we never access, view, or sell your health records.
1. Overview
Healio (also known as "康复日记", "the App") is a personal recovery tracking application designed to help individuals record their daily wellness, medication schedules, port-a-cath maintenance reminders, and milestones in a gentle, supportive environment. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to keeping your data local and private.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect or Upload
Healio is completely serverless regarding user content. We do NOT collect, transmit, upload, or store on our servers:
- Your diagnosis, health condition, cancer type, or treatment phase
- Your medication names, dosages, schedules, or check-in history
- Your port-a-cath (PICC/infusion port) maintenance dates
- Your personal notes, journal entries, or mood tracking data
- Your medical reports, exam photos, or camera captures
- Your real name, phone number, address, or physical identity
- Your contacts, location, or biometric data
3. 100% On-Device Local Storage
All data entered into Healio is saved directly to your device's secure local sandbox using a local SQLite database and iOS UserDefaults. This information remains solely on your physical device unless you explicitly choose to export or share a summary report using the native iOS Share sheet.
You can delete all your data at any time by wiping records in the App or by uninstalling the App from your device.
4. Device Permissions
Healio may request access to certain iOS capabilities strictly to deliver local functionality:
- Camera (NSCameraUsageDescription): Used solely if you choose to take photos of your printed medical reports or check-up sheets to store as local attachments. Photos are saved only in the App's local container.
- Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): Used only if you choose to select existing report photos from your library to attach to your local journal.
- Local Notifications: Used only to trigger on-device medication and check-up reminders that you configure. These notifications are scheduled locally via iOS UserNotifications and do not rely on any remote push server.
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Healio offers optional paid subscriptions ("Healio Pro") processed securely through Apple's App Store. To handle receipt validation and subscription entitlements, we use RevenueCat.
RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase information provided by Apple, including:
- An anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier
- Subscription status, purchase dates, and product identifiers
RevenueCat does not receive your name, payment details, Apple ID, or any health data stored in Healio. RevenueCat's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
6. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
Healio does NOT include any third-party advertising SDKs, ad networks, or user tracking across apps. We do not use IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) or commercial tracking frameworks.
7. Children's Privacy
Healio is intended for general audiences and individuals managing personal wellness. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
