Prank Now only uses your images to generate the prank results you request. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Overview
Prank Now ("the App") is an AI image-editing app that lets users apply prank effects to photos. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your available choices.
2. Information We Process
When you use generation features, we process:
- Uploaded source images (including images that may contain faces)
- Generated output images returned to you
- Selected effect ID, optional generation prompt, and request metadata
- Technical data required for reliability and abuse prevention (for example timestamps and request status)
3. Face Data (Sensitive Data)
We do not collect, create, or store standalone biometric templates, faceprints, or facial recognition identifiers.
If your uploaded photo contains a face, the face-related pixel data is processed only as part of your image generation request.
- Face-related data is used only to generate the output image you requested
- Face-related data is not used to identify you across apps or services
- Face-related data is not sold to third parties
4. Subscription & Purchase Data
Subscriptions are managed via Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We may process anonymous subscription identifiers and entitlement status to determine access level.

5. How We Use Data
- Generate requested prank effects
- Enforce credits and subscription entitlements
- Maintain service security and abuse prevention
- Support customer troubleshooting and product quality improvements
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the app:
- Cloud infrastructure providers used by the Prank Now backend for image generation and storage
- RevenueCat and Apple in-app purchase infrastructure for subscription and entitlement status
- Firebase for analytics and baseline telemetry (non-image analytics events)
7. Storage Location
Service data is stored in cloud infrastructure operated for the Prank Now backend at pranknow.net.
8. Retention
Source images and generated output images are retained for up to 24 hours and then deleted automatically, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance, fraud investigation, or security incidents.
Minimal operational logs may be retained for a longer period when required for reliability and abuse prevention.
9. Your Choices
- You can stop using the service at any time
- You can remove app data by deleting the app or clearing local app data
- You can manage subscription billing in your Apple ID subscription settings
10. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
