Are my photos uploaded to any server?

No. All photo editing happens 100% on your device. Your photos never leave your phone. Tonely uses Apple's Core Image and Metal frameworks for rendering — no internet connection is needed for editing or exporting.

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes single-photo editing, basic adjustment controls (exposure, contrast, saturation, warmth), a selection of starter film looks, and standard-resolution export to your photo library or share sheet.

What does Tonely Pro include?

Pro unlocks the full preset library, advanced grain, halation and bloom effects, high-resolution export, unlimited recipe saving, and additional frame and border options.

What is a Recipe?

A Recipe is a saved combination of a look preset and your custom adjustment values. Once saved, you can apply the same recipe to any photo to maintain a consistent visual style across your entire feed.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Tonely → Settings → Restore Purchases. If your subscription is active, Pro features will be restored automatically. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tonely → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Can I share my recipes with others?

Yes. You can copy a recipe as JSON from the export menu. Others can paste it into Tonely to import your exact look and adjustment settings.

Which iOS versions are supported?

Tonely requires iOS 18.2 or later and works on iPhone and iPad.
